It's strange not knowing how things are going to end. My father was a fan of having plans, so am I, actually. He always said that things were accomplished when you had a plan. There is no plan right now. I believe this is what people call taking it one step at a time. it's going to have to work, there is entirely too much riding on this for it not to be that way.
Apollo's birthday is soon, he will be seven years old. Makes me feel old. Not to mention the part about being grandfather. Hmm, I should start getting ready for work.

[Private to Andromeda]
I won't be home tonight, Shane and Nora need me to take care of their children this evening as Nora's mother has just passed away. I'll have my journal if you need me.

[Backdated to after this. ]
I'm thinking of taking up hunting for recreational purposes. My father used to do it, he had hunting rifles around the house when I was younger. I'm positive I still remember how to clean one properly.
Oh the joys of fatherhood.

My memory's still a little fuzzy.
The healers at St. Mungo's just think I was hit particularly hard on the head with something. Figures considering I thought it was Christmas for a whole week. I argued that too, swore it up down and across. The look on my face when it was warm out must have been a sight. They say it may take a while for my memory to catch up with the calendar, but I should get there within a few more weeks. The last thing I remember is attending a funeral on Andromeda's birthday. Such a sad thing to relive.
Ribs are good though, all the other bumps, scrapes, and cuts are all healed now.

I do believe I promised you ice cream. If you were still interested... maybe you'd like to go get some in a little while? Maybe do a little shopping?

Everything good up that way?

Yes, things are certainly looking up at work. I'm rather impressed with everything so far.
[Private to Andromeda, Penny, and Dora]
I have to work all day Friday. Would you three be interested in coming with me? The match is set for the Wimbourne Wasps against the Holyhead Harpies. And the best part... Press passes!
Quidditch and my three favorite ladies, what else could I ask for?

I feel like I should be more devastated that the Prophet has axed my column. However, I'm getting to write about one of my passions, Quidditch, and edit the food section in the Sunday paper. Not to mention, the pay is much better.
Somehow, I think I can handle that. Just means more quidditch games that I can't get yelled at for attending. This new job is sounding fabulous. I do believe this is what the kids in London are calling selling out.

So what are we going to do then? I still say we let Penny make her own decision. She's old enough to have that kind of liberty, I think anyway.

Andromeda, we are NOT pulling the children out of Hogwarts, and that's final.

I hope you're doing well, I'm sorry I haven't gotten around to this sooner, but it's been absolutely hectic all week at work. It's not really an excuse to not check in on your, but I'm sure you understand.
If there's anything you need, let me know.
[/Private to Draco]
Ah work... thank God it's Friday. Now all I have to look forward to is all those home improvement projects I've been putting off.

Computers today look so much different than when I used them at the newspaper. They're not a black screen anymore.
America Online. Hmm... Well, Shane says it's the latest thing, so I guess whatever keeps us better in touch.

Sometimes I really wish I could just go back and erase everything. It's such a shame life doesn't work that way.

I'm bored, we should do something tonight. Just us.

Happy birthday, Remus.

Considering all that I've had on my mind this past week, I've come to the decision that I do want more children.
Apollo seems sad, I don't blame him. He knows something isn't right with me. He comes and lays his head on my knee, and that just makes my life so much better. Normally, I'm a very talkative person, but sometimes... silence says so much more.

[Private to the Order EXCEPT Andromeda]
Can we please not tell my wife I'm a part of this raid? She's all ready mad at me for lying about being in the Order. I don't really want her to be worried sick about me on Sunday. I'll deal with the consequences when, and if, they should arise.
Thank you.
